Anthony is having a balloon fest parade May 12, 2007.  They are honoring our fallen soldiers and Jerrod Hays who was wounded.  They want to put the families in the very front as marshals and they want us to ride out front with flags and park by the stage and let the families go past.  At the staging area there will be restrooms with plenty of parking and the American Legion will be serving complimentary refreshments.  There is also going to be two Black Hawk helicopters on display and two POW MIA hot air balloons.

Staging will be at 1300, parade at 1400.  The parade will last approximately one hour.

Directions from Harper, KS are as follows:

go 9 miles south on Hwy 14 to Anthony - proceed on to the stop sign (at McDonalds) - turn left (east) - we will stage in the parking lot across the street from the park.

There will be balloons flying three times that day weather permitting.
