Officer Robert "Tim" Buckman

KSN News Story

Officer Robert "Tim" Buckman was critically injured last Friday, May 4, when his patrol car was struck by a tornado on Highway 50 in Stafford County. He died of his injuries at Via Christi Hospital on Tuesday, May 8. Tim Buckman was working as a storm spotter when his car was struck. He had hoped to warn residents who lived beyond earshot of the tornado sirens to take cover. His effort to save lives of those who lived in his county cost him his own life. He is a hero who gave his all for the people he served.

Tim Buckman's funeral service will be this Saturday, 12 May 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Macksville Christian Church.

Bring flagpoles and flags. If you can please make this mission to honor Tim and support his family, friends, and fellow officers.

Itinerary:

0900 hrs (09:00am) Staging will be at the Country Store on Highway 50
0915 hrs (09:15am) Briefing - possible escort to cemetery
0930 hrs (09:30am) Depart to church and line up - Macksville Christian Church
1100 hrs (11:00am) Funeral Service begins
