Firefighter John Glaser, 33, a six-year veteran of the Shawnee Fire Department, died in the line of duty on Saturday 22 May 2010 while searching a burning home in the 13400 block of West 75th Court in The Estates at Fairway Hills.  John was a 1993 graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School, a 2000 graduate of Kansas University, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

The family has invited the Patriot Guard to attend the funeral.

The Patriot Guard extends our sincere sympathy to the Glaser Family, friends and firefighters.
