Dear Kansas Patriot Guard Members:

Words cannot express the thanks of the family and friends of SSgt Zachary H Hargrove for the honors you all gave to Zac at his memorial service earlier this month in Wichita.

As our cars drove past the flags and salutes, I wept in gratitude that our son was so honored by all of you. Indeed, Zac will never be forgotten, but for as long as I live, neither will be your display of patriotism as you shared in our family's grief over his loss.

Darkhorse,

I am dropping you a line to pass on my gratitude to your men in support of my fallen NCO, SSG Hargrove, Zachary Hayden, during yesterday's memorial service near Wichita. I received feedback that the memorial ceremony was absolutely phenomenal, and as usual, your men looked great! SSG Hargrove was an excellent NCO and he will be missed dearly by the men and women of the 84th EOD BN, Bagram, Afghanistan. Sincerely, MAJ Hirschey
