2CPO Kristy McCanny

Final Itinerary

US Navy 2CPO Kristy McCanny 27 years old and her daughter Sabin 10 years old died Wednesday 11 April 2007 as a result of a car accident.  Kristy's son Davin 9 years old was seriously injured in the accident.   Kristy served 5 years in the Navy and was promoted in a short time to 2nd Class Petty Officer (E-5).  Her duties included preparing bombs and loading the bombs on airplanes.  Kristy was honorably discharged and was a honor student at Cowley County Community College with a 4.0 GPA.   Her daughter Sabin was a honor student , played softball and accepted for a preteen talent show.  The funeral will be a Full Military Honor service with her daughter Sabin buried by her side.  Kristy and Sabin were well known and loved by their family, friends, and the community.  
The family has invited all AL Riders and Patriot Guard.

STAGING AND DEPARTURE   0800 hr (8AM)  Tuesday 17 April 2007   meet at Derby QT   71st & K15 
 
Briefing        0830hr (8:30AM)   Line up Motorcycle Flag Honor Guard
 
Departure     0845 hr (8:45AM)   4 blocks to church---Line up Avenue of Flags and be in place by 0900 hr (9AM)
 
Funeral Services:    1000 hr (10AM)

Graveside Full Military Honor Service:
Udall Cemetery (west side of Udall, Kansas)  Jarhead and Darkhorse have recon the cemetery and route.
 
American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard will escort Kristy, Sabin, family and friends to graveside.
The route to cemetery will be explain at briefing.
 
Ride Captains:   Jarhead and Darkhorse  ( as always many assist which makes the mission run smoothly)
