Riders, for those not going to Wamego if you are able to support
the services for Guy Stearman (decorated Vet, Pilot and one of the
founders of Stearman Aircraft, better known as Boeing) please do. "God
Bless the Stearman family" and "Thanks" to Doug ( Grey Eagle ) Lehman

The following information is provided
for our special mission for Navy Veteran Guy Stearman. Guy was a
POW for 3 1/2 years. Services and funeral in Coldwater, Kansas
on
Saturday, March 24.
Chuck Tanner (Greensburg 620-546-4752)
will serve as Road Captain.
Doug Lehman (Derby 316-519-4204) will
serve as Co-Captain.
Staging and departure from Derby,
Douglas, Mulvane, Haysville, Rose Hill, Wichita area
0800 - meet at Derby QT south 71st St and K15
0830 - depart K15 to 47th st to I-235 to Hwy 54
1015- stop for fuel in Pratt (pick up additional Riders )

1030 - depart Pratt on Hwy 281 Medicine Lodge (pick up additional Riders)
1110 - depart Medicine Lodge on Hwy 160 to Coldwater
Note: Possibility of rain is in the
forecast so bring rain gear/dress accordingly. Times are
approximate depending on road conditions. Fuel stop in
Pratt will be at Ampride on Hwy 281. We will pickup riders
from ALR 86 (Pratt) and also pickup additional riders in
Medicine Lodge.
Additional
details will be provided at staging area during mission briefing.
Services are at 1PM at Hatfield and Prusa Funeral Home. Escort to
Crown Hill Cemetery.
Riders,
Guy Stearman, WWII POW, and
lives in Belle Plaine. He recently passed away and the funeral
will be Saturday at Crown Hills Cemetary ( 1 PM ) , Coldwater,
Kansas ...( realize there is a KIA Mission in Wamego same day) NEED
A Ride CAPT. advise ASAP..co family can be contacted
I have no other details.
Family requested the PG if at all possible to attend.
