Final Itinerary
Wichita, Kansas US Army Signal Corps Technical Sergeant Othal Vrana, 84 years old, died 21 April 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. He served from 1942 to 1946 and was assigned to the 557 Radar Unit, Philippines, during WWII. Othal served America honorably and protected our freedom. His family requested and invited the Kansas American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard to attend the funeral. American Legion Rider Post 136, Chuck Vrana, is the son of Othal. Bring motorcycle flag poles and flags: Pre Staging: 0800 hrs (8:00AM) Derby QT 71st and K15 Departure: 0815 hrs (8:15AM) travel K15 to 47th St to I235 to QT Kellogg/Maize (1500 S. Maize Road) Secondary Staging: 0845 hrs (8:45AM) QT Kellogg/Maize (1500 S. Maize Road) Line up flags on bikes. The number and order of flags will be determined at staging area. Briefing: 0910 hrs (9:10AM) Departure: 0925 hrs (9:25AM) North on Maize Road to Central. Right on Central to Westlink. Left on Westlink to West Heights United Methodist Church Final Staging: 0930 hrs (9:30AM) 745 Westlink - West Heights United Methodist Church Set up Avenue of Flags Services 1030 hrs (10:30AM) Approximately 1130 hrs (11:30AM) escort to cemetery with our motorcycle flag honor guard. South on Westlink to Central. Right on Central to 119th St. Left on 119th St. to Resthaven - 11800 W. Kellogg.
