The ALR/Patriot Guard are invited to a Welcome Home Ride for Headquarters and Headquarters Battery (Forward), 1st Battalion, 127th Field Artillery, Kansas Army National Guard on Thursday, 19 Oct 06. HHB (FWD) returns home from deployment to Iraq.
 
The troops will arrive at Forbes Field in Topeka at approximately 1300. We have been invited to join the celebration of their return at a rally scheduled for 1400 at Lee Arena, on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka.

Ride Captains for this Welcome Home Ride are SARDog and Kai. You may contact either Ride Captain for more information. 

Staging area will be American Legion Post 400, 3029 NW US HWY 24, Topeka. Post 400 is on the south side of Highway 24, west of the Goodyear Road exit.

ITINERARY:
1200: Staging Area opens, lineup
1300: Ride Captains' Briefing
1315: Kick the tires, and light the fires. Launch, launch, launch!
1330: On Station
1400: Rally begins
 

This is the same day as the SPC Wood Funeral Mission ride down at Iola.
