ALR/PG Prayer Request

ALR/PG Family Member DJ Wells

July 2007
Hello to all

Just an update to keep all in on what we know about D.J.s sudden illness’ and the loss of blood and we don’t know much more know than we did 12 days ago.

He had his hemoglobin level drop down to 5.4(critical) where it should be 13. They transfused 6 units of blood in him and got it back up then they have added all the iron, potassium, calcium and all the others minerals he needs to get healthy.

They have done endoscopies, colonoscopies kidney scan C.T. scans and found a blood clot in his left leg and in his left lung not pneumonia. They have stumped 10 doctors and specialty doctors and they are going to try a couple of more tests from a pulmonary doctor and then if they can’t get some kind of diagnosis they want to ship him up to Mayo clinic in Minnesota.

I have to be thankful that all the tests they have been testing for have all come back negative test for lymphoma, and all kinds of nasty diseases, so that’s all I have to pass along to everybody for now.

He is just about as scared as I am about this and I wish I could do something to ease this situation. Please say a prayer or so for him, we can use all that we can get right now.

Thank you all

Dave Wells
